Favorite Cake

I am joining in on Shutter Love Tuesdays - Fave Cakes at the Trendy Treehouse.
We are supposed to share photos of our favorite cakes and I can't think of a better cake to share than our baby girl's 1st birthday cake!

Do I get bonus points for making it extra delicious? ;)
Ha! She couldn't get enough!
She had to make absolutely sure every last bit was eaten.

I have never had more fun making a cake than I did with this one!
Now the question is.... what do I make for her birthday this year? It's coming up!

    Woweee! What a cake!! Did you really do that all by yourself, from scratch?? Pretty impressive, and it's a good thing you've got photos. But you're probably not like me! When my kids were little I made special cakes (absolutely not in your league), but as time has gone on, um, not so much. So, it's really nice to be able to say, "See, I did these things for you! You were just too little to appreciate them (or remember them)!"

    Gorgeous castle cake, and that little chublette of yours definitely loved it! She's really too cute!

    We did a wonderful dragon cake for my oldest's 2nd birthday with lemon and orange jello jiggler flames that was a lot of fun. I'll bet your version would be better than mine.
