Makeover Complete!!

Wow. This whole shop makeover thing took way longer than I anticipated. What a job!

Now I know some of you are pro photographers, and others are graphic designers, etc. So don't be too hard on me - I'm just an amateur at this stuff. I think that's why it took me so long to do this makeover - I don't know what I'm doing!

Between having several showings of our house this week, running errands, cleaning like a mad woman, fulfilling all my orders, doing hair, getting sick, and trying to cook dinner each night and pay some attention to my man and daughter, it wasn't easy! But with a sick baby in one arm and a camera in the other, I managed to get it done.

Yesterday Isabella was still so sick. She kept falling asleep on me all day. It was late afternoon by the time I finally got around to taking a shower, and this is how I found her when I stepped out.

Melt My Heart

I'm sorry my blogging has been a little dull lately. I've had so much to do that by the time I sit down at the computer to blog, I have about 11 seconds.

My girlie and I are home with the flu today. I know she feels awful because he just keeps falling asleep in my arms as I write. So sad :(

I just want to share pictures today.

Dancing with Daddy

She loves to steal my phone and download games that make our bill skyrocket. Seriously.

She learned to take her socks off and give herself a little pedicure.

Where did this face come from?? Silly girl.

And she learned how to undress herself.

And as always, she loves to eat!

I love having a girl. I get to make hair pretties to match every outfit!

God sure was nice to give us this sweet girl!

What Really Matters

Have you ever had one on those days?

Me too.

Actually, it's been more like one of those months.

I am trying really hard not to focus on the things that are bothering me.

That's hard.

I keep asking myself, "what really matters?"

And those are the things that deserve my attention.

Like spending time in God's word.

Cherishing every minute with my daughter.

Being the best wife I can be to my awesome husband.

Making sure that when all is said and done, my Father can say to me "Well done."

Because in the end nothing else really matters.

Random Monday

In the midst of my crazy busy life, I always find some time to bake. Because it makes my man happy. So I invented a new cookie recipe :

These, my friends are dangerous. They were a little too good.

Chewy peanut butter cookies with white chocolate and chocolate chips. Who needs a recipe? Just add in everything yummy and voila! Super cookie :)

Then, because we try to eat real food too, and because LeAnna made this sound so good, I made up a batch of homemade chicken noodle soup.

(these are the noodles in case you're wondering)

Bella had the first bowl and she gave it a resounding "Mmmm!" It was a hit!

She was a little hurt that I wasn't going to give her the box of cookies for dessert though.

I had to give her one, who could resist that face???

3. If I could, I would have a baby every year. I LOVE babies!!!

4. Being a wife and mother are my two greatest joys in life. I am blessed!

6. I bake everything from scratch and almost never use a recipe.

7. I am actually a really quiet, private person and I debate whether or not to continue blogging almost daily. (It goes against all my natural instincts!)
